Raison d'être means reason for being. Our raison d'être? Simply to spread joy through delicious artisan-crafted baked goods made from the finest all-natural ingredients.

Since opening in 1994 in the San Francisco Bay Area, our wholesale bakery has earned a glowing reputation and a passionate following of devoted customers.

​

In 2015, Raison D’etre Bakery launched 100% aged Parmesan Crisps, a regional favorite in Specialty and Natural retail stores, to a national audience under the Joyfull Bakery brand.

 

With a commitment to our culinary craft and family values, Raison D’etre Bakery continues to delight customers with delicious products made from simple, all-natural, high-quality ingredients.
